squadcaster-h7g0_1_08-15-2024_091637: Welcome back to Alive and Thriving. If you are brand new, welcome. If you are returning, welcome back. For those who don't know me, my name is Jessica Read. I am an alternative therapist. I work with modalities like EFT tapping, hypnotherapy, Holistic counseling, life coaching, and I integrate these modalities together to meet my clients where they are at in their emotional journey of their business.[00:01:00]
I help you to have a calm and regulated nervous system. Whilst you grow and expand your business, while you have the impact around the world that you want to be having. I love what I do. I love helping people to supporting people to have a healthy emotional experience in their life and their business.
One that is not dictated by stress and anxiety. I have lived in panic attacks. I have lived in chronic illness. I, stayed there for long enough. It is not where I choose to be anymore in my mind and in my body. And I love that I get to help other women just like you. Build internal foundations through your nervous system, through emotional healing, through shifting beliefs and outdated programming that is preventing you from having the experience in your life and your [00:02:00] business.
Cause of course your business is your vehicle for your life that you want to be having. And then of course, I'm also here to help you grow. Your business. If you are a coach, a healer, an online service provider, maybe you are creating a digital offer. Maybe you are wanting to create a membership model.
If you are a face to face service business, I can help you grow your business by also straight with strengths and strategy, but by also growing yourself. Now, today I want to ask you. How far into your business are you? And honestly, even if you are super far in today's episode is still going to benefit you.
If you though, have been struggling to get your business off the ground, or maybe you are years in, but you've hit a little bit of a rut. You're [00:03:00] feeling a bit stagnant, then I feel like you're going to get so much out of today because I'm going to share with you guys eight things that I would either do if I had the chance to start my business again, or that I would redo because I did it then and I know it worked eight things that I would do.
If I was starting my business from the very beginning, now, some of these are strategy based and some of these are mindset based. I'm going to share both. Okay, so we've got eight things and I'm so excited to get into this with you now, just before I do, I just want to remind you that if you have not downloaded yet, your free stress free launch kit, then please do if you are Launching any kind of offer.
If you are putting something new out into the world, if you are going through a live launch process, I know it can be so stressful. So many of my [00:04:00] clients find that when they are launching, that is when their sabotage comes up. That's where all of the limiting beliefs come in. That's where the fear takes over.
And for so many of the ladies I work with, they're consciously aware of the repeated story, but they're not aware of the root cause. And that's where the work that we do comes in. So if you would like to have a different kind of emotional experience in your launch, one that doesn't feel overwhelming, one that feels grounded and.
Really in your body and able to think clearly and overcome imposter syndrome when it pops in and overcome the stories that say, Oh, can you really make this much money and honestly, just have a launch experience where your family doesn't want to hide from you for the whole time. Then go and get your grounded, your sorry, it was called the grounded launch kit.
Now I'm calling it the stress free launch kit. Either way, it's the same amazing product. So go and get your free [00:05:00] grounded launch kit. There is a link in the show notes. Okay. Eight things that I would do if I was starting my business from scratch. Now, these are in no particular order. Okay. These are just to as they jotted, as they came into my mind, the first thing I would do is I would invest in mentorship earlier, and invest in help earlier.
Okay. So investing in my business. Now, I don't know why we assume that we can start a business. And grow it to where we tell ourselves that we want to grow it too. And usually with a very unrealistic timeframe, which I'm going to speak about shortly too, without spending money. I'm not sure where that idea came from and maybe you can and maybe you have and maybe you've done everything completely on your own and completely organically and it's taken however many years it has [00:06:00] taken or maybe you've done that and you've gotten yourself to a certain point now you're five years in and you know that you need help to get to your next level but for me I know from being a coach, but I also know from my own work that I, from my own internal personal work, that for me to actually continue to hold space for my clients, I need to be continuing to grow.
I also need someone to be able to point out the blind spots in my business. I need somebody to be able to give me ideas and things to respond to in terms of strategy. I need someone to be able to put their eyes on something and be like, this is why this might not have worked. How about you try this or let's try this and implement this and outsource this.
I love getting that kind of support in my business and the things that I learned from investing in a mastermind. I [00:07:00] was a year into my business when I did this into this business. I have 12 plus years of business experience, very different businesses this time round. I was 12 months in when I invested in.
I wish I had done it sooner. If I was to go back, I would actually invest in something, the right mentor, someone that feels good, someone that gets what it's like to start up a business, someone who could help me build my foundations from the very, very beginning, because here's what I did in the first 12 months.
I was like, okay, I need a website. I need a logo. I need I had these ideas of what I needed. But none of those things were actually moving me forward. And then I was like, I want to launch a course. And I did, I launched a course by myself based on reverse engineering, what I had seen other people do.
And then I was like, Oh, they've got this free thing. Maybe I should create a free thing. I didn't know it was called a lead magnet. I was just trying to reverse [00:08:00] engineer what other people were doing. But I was also creating so much work for myself and adding in a lot more steps than I needed to. My focus was split over a million different things, and I had no idea how to manage that.
All I knew was that I wanted clients. I wanted certain results in my business. And so when the opportunity came up for me to go into a mastermind, I was like, yes, I am going to grow my business. And this is the container that is going to help me do that. And it was a big, scary investment. At that point in time, it was a 20, 000 for the year investment that I wasn't making.
I wasn't making it. But again, how do we, I want you to think about if you were to go into any other profession, any, anything like you are not going to go and be a lawyer without going to law school. You are not [00:09:00] going to go and be a, I don't know, a physiotherapist without going to university. There are all of these different professions where we would normalize going and learning, we would normalize that we'd normalize going and just spending all of this time just learning and then going out into the workforce when you join a mentorship, when you have a mentor who has eyes on your business.
Someone who you know has walked the path that you want to be walking. If you invest in that within yourself early, then you are learning and doing. It is like doing an apprenticeship. You're in, you're on the tools and you've got the help and you grow faster. I'm in my third year in the container that I am in now.
And I say, I've seen I'm sitting in this space now. For me, it was October last year, which was what, almost two years in the container where I just saw [00:10:00] this huge energy shift for me, like this huge energy shift. I am seeing other women who are now in their sort of 18 month timeframe of being in, who came in last year in this container.
I am seeing their big energetic shifts happen. I am seeing in the mastermind that I run in the transcendence mastermind. I am saying that now we are like eight months in and the way that these ladies are thinking has up leveled the questions that they are asking, the strategies that they are implementing.
The energetic shift is visible and so palpable. And I love that. And then there's investing in help. So I probably could have invested in help in my business. Oh, gosh, a year before I did. And I had this story that I, [00:11:00] Had to be earning a certain amount of money in order to be able to actually get help in my business.
Again, that comes from this belief that, we don't spend money on our business until it's making money. And again, why do we believe that we can go and start up a business without spending money? I just, I don't know. It's something that I've had to process a lot and do a lot of money mindset work with.
But in my opinion, there are things that, that your business needs, whether it just be investing in website, whether it just be investing in, even your yearly canvas subscription, the tools that you need to operate your business, they're all investing in your business. They are all investments, mentoring and help.
And what I mean by help is some kind of assistant. Someone who [00:12:00] you can hire virtually and you can hire in Australia, you can hire offshore. You can hire virtually to do to help you. First of all, set up systems. That's really important. That is something that I actually could add as another thing on the list that I would be doing right from the beginning of my business.
Setting up systems, setting up automations right from the get go, setting up the foundations of your business right from the get go, someone who can help you do this admin work that keeps you out of your zone of genius so that you can focus on making money. And even if it's just a couple of hours a week, because you are still super green on socials and you have no idea and, get someone to do it for you. Honestly, that is just my [00:13:00] mentality. Where your energy goes, I want you to treat that like a monetary currency. And if you're, if you are putting your energy into something that drains you, I really want you to question what's that worth for you. So my first thing is to invest in help, mentoring, business help, invest in help.
My second thing is to invest in your foundations, your brand foundations. Now this is not just your logo and your font and your visual identity. Your brand foundations go and see my beautiful friend, Jen. She, I know she runs a regular masterclass. You can go back and listen to her episode. We can even link it in the show notes.
So you can go back and have a listen, go and do brand foundations. Understand your brand voice, understand your authentic voice, what your brand gives a profound crap about, understand your [00:14:00] keywords, understand your core messaging, understand your ideal client, set up the foundations of your business as if you were building a house that you want to last for a hundred years.
To 500 years, set up really solid foundations and those foundations also include the systems that you are putting into place. It includes the funnels that you are building as you trial and error different things, the content that you create, right in the beginning of your business, trying to get it right.
These are all things that you can then go and you can reuse. You are creating these amazing foundations and learning all of these amazing lessons, which form these foundations of your business. So set your brand foundations. I was the person who was reinventing the wheel. Every time someone said, who's your ideal client, I was like, Oh, I don't [00:15:00] really remember.
I know her, but I'd have to try and articulate it again. And then my open head center would be like, you're not certain you need to do this again. And how much time I wasted redoing this same work. So having my brand foundations is literally a document that I get to refer back to. So I've stopped reinventing the wheels.
So I've started having really clear messaging to one person. I have my brand, my visual identity and my brand personality and my mission and all of those things, my movement, everything that all gets given to anybody that I work with. Anyone who comes into work. I outsource my landing pages. I hire someone new.
I outsource my copywriting, anything that I am doing. I am giving them these foundations. So getting my brand foundations, my business foundations laid. I would have done that a lot sooner if I had understood the value [00:16:00] of that and taken myself out of the, I need a website and a logo mindset. Okay. Yes, I do have a beautiful visual identity and it is based on psychology the, the fonts, the colors, every, there was curated based on psychology of my ideal client based on the way I want people to feel when they come into my business.
Okay. It is all so beautiful and so strategic. And honestly, it is just such an amazing feeling knowing that you have these foundations in place. So again, your visual identity, yes, but I will tell you my logo has changed like three times. My logo has changed three times. But what hasn't changed is my brand identity that, that evolves as I evolve, but it hasn't changed.
Number three is visibility and lead [00:17:00] generation. So that's three and four together. Okay. Number four is I would start growing my email list way sooner. And I'm going to link back to number three in a second. Number four, grow your email list and do it right from the very beginning. And you're either going to put it out organically and sends free content to people.
So sorry, send people to a free lead magnet, or you are going to run low cost ads to your lead magnet. If you want to buy the data and you want to build your list faster. Again, we are investing in our business. Okay. Because we want long term growth. So you can absolutely build your list organically. I would be testing on your socials, different, different lead magnets to see, or even different messaging with your lead magnet to see what your audience is responding to.
But in the early stages [00:18:00] of your business it's going to be a test and we don't put it out once and put one post out or two posts and go, Oh, I've done this and no one one set. I'm going to come to expectations in a minute. What we do is we consistently put it out for a period of months until we get the data.
So that's why I love running ads to my lead magnets because I'm buying the data, I'm getting it faster. And when I was in the beginning of my business for the first 12 months, I grew my list of 47 people and those 47 people weren't buying. They weren't right and I kept launching my membership to the same 47 people over and over again.
No wonder they weren't buying. Then I grew my list by 2000 people in the next 12 months. And it's no coincidence that I was getting people who [00:19:00] then bought, who then moved through my world because ultimately it's a numbers thing. Ultimately it's numbers, right? If we're looking at certain percentages of conversions.
of people who come in converting, then logic says the more people who refunnel in. Then we converting high percentages as we bring them in. So I would focus on growing my list and I would do that. As I said, by lead generation, like Facebook ads to a lead magnet to a free value offer. I would also be a lot more visible earlier.
Even if your business is brand new and you feel like you're not yet an authority, pitch yourself to podcasts, pitch yourself to people with aligned audiences. So this is coming back to my number three, where we are being visible and we are generating leads and [00:20:00] don't try and sell them your offer. Don't grow on someone's Instagram live to sell them an offer.
Don't grow on their podcast to sell them an offer. Do these things to give them your lead magnet to just get them on your email list. And the more you speak, the more you are hurt. The more you are going to be seen as an authority offer to teach in people's memberships, in people's containers, offer to teach at schools, goals at.
Community events offer to teach anywhere where you have an aligned audience and offer to teach for free, because this is another way to market yourself, but also to build your confidence and your authority and your visibility teach for free speak for free. You are early in your business. I feel like for me, I would have started speaking 12 [00:21:00] months before I did.
At least if I could have done it from the very beginning, if I realized I should have been doing it or could have been doing it from the beginning, I would have teach, get one presentation that you can just tweak to different topics. So for me, it was like EFT for stress, EFT for ADHD symptoms, EFT for teachers but like for managing teacher wellbeing, EFT for like EFT for this, like that was mine.
So speak, find a topic. Or a couple of topics and pitch yourself to podcast, pitch yourself to insert, just keep going live with other people, collaborate together, get yourself in front of new audiences. So that visibility is something I would have included in my business plan much earlier. Now, here is one.
I also wish I had done earlier than I did. And that was branded images. Again, this is [00:22:00] another investment piece, but having, even if it's just two headshots that you can use in your marketing that are branded. With I, actually worked with a stylist for my first branding shoot because I felt so uncertain and I explained to her my brand.
She grabbed my, I only had my visual identity at the time. She took that. She, had this in depth conversation with me about how I wanted people to feel and how I wanted to feel and about my brand. And then she, curated my outfit. It's for my first branding shoot, all of my content up leveled from that my website, gosh, it impacted my website.
And the thing is that I want to be perceived as an authority in my space. And so for me, having branded images for me also to, this wasn't on the list, but having a email address that isn't at [00:23:00] gmail. com, that was really important to me as well. Yes, it's another cost. It's another investment. It's, an investment in the authority of your business.
In my opinion, I want to be seen as professional. I want people to feel like they can trust me. I want to, and I know. That a lot of a lot of that comes from energy and it comes from word of mouth and I understand that you can still have a successful business without doing these things, but for me, it was really important to be seen as an authority and to be trusted and I feel like having that element of.
Investment into your business and into yourself. I really feel like that shows people that you are here to take this seriously. So when you can, I would highly recommend it, have a branding shoot done, or just go get a headshot. Go. And there are photographers. I'm sure you can find photographers around who will do an amazing headshot.
Maybe [00:24:00] give you two images, three images. Like it doesn't have to be some big elaborate shoot, but get a professional headshot done. What else would I do? Oh, yes. Okay. I forget what number I'm up to now. I'm just gonna count. One, two, three, four, five. We're up to number six. Number six. Okay, we're going to go into the mindset a little bit here with this one.
And that is I would detach from my outcomes. Oh, okay. Detaching from your outcome. Coming in with the intention of serving versus serving. Selling and the mentality that this is the long game, that the work that you are doing in the first 12 months, two years, three years of your business is setting up foundations for a long term stable business.
If [00:25:00] you are coming in and I'm not saying this doesn't happen, I'm not saying that there aren't people who come in and they start their business and they just skyrocket and they have their 10, 000 months straight away, but you probably need to look at their past experience. Maybe they have been in marketing for their whole career maybe they have been a part of businesses who are at that multimillion dollar level.
So then they can leave and they have all of these skills and these things that they've already tried and tested, but in other areas, and then they go and put that into their business. When someone says, I just I, it only took me two months to earn this amount of money. Amazing. But we don't know what they are bringing into that.
We don't know how much they invested in their ads, in their mentoring. We don't know that. So you can't compare somebody else's journey to your own and the reality for so many [00:26:00] healers, so many course creators, so many membership creators, so many coaches. Starting off online, in person, the reality is that, it can take a while.
I'm just going to say that to you right now. It can take a while. And if you are coming in with the expectation that I've only got 12 months of This amount of leave from my job, or I'm giving myself all my husband's given me just 12 months or I've put these conditions you are not coming in from a place of service.
You are coming into your business with a place from a place of desperation and scarcity and lack and that energy that pressure. It's going to reflect in the messiness of what you are doing in the desperation of people not buying your offers in focusing so much on selling, [00:27:00] selling, instead of serving.
And when you have that expectation that it's okay if my, if I've not replaced my income by this amount of time, therefore I'm not successful, this business won't work. I can't sustain this. I want you to flip your expectations because if you. Listening to this podcast, then I'm going to assume that you are impact driven and you are here for the long term game.
You are not here. We need for the short term gratification, and that's what we need to let go of. We need to let go of that short term gratification, understand everything that you do in your business serves a purpose. Every bit of learning that you do serves a purpose. Everything that you try and test serves a purpose.
If you spend six months working on an offer that, and refining that offer. Let's say you put it out once and it doesn't buy and you're like, Oh, [00:28:00] I've done this. I've live launched and it didn't work. Okay. But then did you go and actually look at the data? Yeah. Yeah. And C was the gap in your ads?
Was the gap in your leading page? Do we need to refine the messaging? Do we need to refine the offer? Is your offer even clear? Let me know if you want my solar lined offer framework. I can send you a copy of the replay of the masterclass. Is your offer even clear? Are people confused? There are so many things to look at before we go and determine that what you're doing isn't going to work.
But if you're coming in with that, energy of, time limits and rush and scarcity and only focused on how many clients you have and how much money your business is making yes, as a business, we need to make money. But the reality is that in the first year, two years, three years, you might not.
You actually might not. But then what [00:29:00] happens when you have tried and tested your offer, you've refined it. You have actually built out these email sequences and this funnel unknowingly that you, put together to bring people into your world. And then that's it. Starts working. And you actually in the first 12 months, two years, hired help, have systems in place, automations in place, things that are going to help you to be able to hold the amount of clients that you want to be holding.
You've been teaching, you've been presenting, you've been speaking. So you are confident. And that shows in your authority and people feel that from a mile away when they see yours. Socials. And when they connect with you or they, scroll past your ad and they see that you now are safe to be authentically you, because you have spent this time investing in yourself, your learning, your business, your mindset.[00:30:00]
That is that is what we do in embodied entrepreneur. Like we help you become the identity of a successful entrepreneur. If you have been doing these things, then your first few years, Or your first year or your first few months. If you've been doing these things then they're not wasted. They're not wasted.
Now I'm not saying don't try and earn money. Please do still bring money into your business. But please be aware of the reality that for most people, for most coaches, for most healers, for most course creators, for most membership owners, it is not an instant shot to, oh, what do you call it? It's not an instant shot to huge profit.
It's not like we've done this thing and now I'm booked out. It took me three years of constantly showing up to be booked out in my alternative therapies business. And [00:31:00] I am so fine with that. Do you know why? Because I know that I wouldn't have been able to hold. This level right now, two years ago, it wouldn't have been able to, I know that there was things that needed to shift within me.
And there were foundations that need to be in place in my business. So if I was starting my business again, I would go back and I would give myself a big hug and I would say, you are in this for the long game. Every bit of learning that you get from these, from experimenting with different offers.
Everything that you put out is not a reflection on you. If someone doesn't buy, it's literally just data. It is analyzing. It is refinement. It is learning. It is understanding your client better. And every time you do it, you'll get better every single time. And if you didn't sell if, no one turned up live to your masterclass, if you didn't sell that membership the [00:32:00] first time, second time that you offered it doesn't mean that you have failed.
I would also, so my next number, are we up to seven, eight? I don't remember. Oh my gosh. The next thing that I would be focusing on when I am starting my business is being open Different office for cashflow. So I see a lot of coaches, a lot of coaches who have it very focused. Like I just, I want to build my membership.
I just want to grow a membership, or I just want my one on one clients, or I just want this group program to work. And if you are only focused on that in the beginning of your business, just because you don't want to be doing the other things, or they're not your long term plan, then you are probably.
Maybe [00:33:00] going to slow down your growth. That might be an unpopular opinion for people who are saying no, focusing on one thing and grow that one thing. But I have literally seen people turn down one on one work with clients because they feel like they just need to grow their membership, their 40 a month membership.
And so they say no to working one on one, but then they complain that there is no cashflow. And that they're not making money. And the thing is that you don't have to do your one on ones forever. If that's not your goal, you get to choose, but if cashflow is something that you are really wanting in your business, then get on the lead generation websites or pay for traffic to your Instagram page or to your website or to your blog or your podcast.
Go and get in front of other people's audiences. And get them on your list and nurture them and offer those [00:34:00] people on your list an opportunity to work with you outside of the tunnel vision of what you want to create. You can still create your membership, your group program, you can still have your one on ones and create those things later, you can still create those things and then have your one on ones later you don't need to limit yourself.
To just one modality to working with people in the beginning, because course creation, membership building, it takes time. It takes time. And if and same on the other foot, if you are only solely focused on getting one on one clients, and that is feeling hard for you. And it is taking a while to get those clients into your world, then you could be doing something else at the same time.
You could be learning how to launch. You could be learning how to create an offer, a [00:35:00] program, something that is passive, something that is easy for people to access, something that is easy and fun for you to teach in. There are options. And I just really encourage you in the beginning to take your tunnel vision glasses off and experiment.
Experiment with things that feel good for you. Experiment with the way that you like to deliver offers. Experiment with the way that you like to work with people. Experiment and don't limit yourself. When, and so I think what gets confusing when someone says go all in with one thing. Yes, we don't want your attention to be on 30 different things.
Okay, definitely not. And I'm so guilty for that. Botch again. If you are looking for cash flow in your business and one thing is struggling and it is sticky and it is hard. I'm not saying give up. I'm saying work, refine, but consider that [00:36:00] there are other ways for you to bring income into your business and maybe working with a mentor can point out those blind spots for you or the blind spots in what you're trying to bring in.
If you want to be able to have a freedom filled life and you are focused on working with 21 on one clients a week. Does 20 hours of clients who are not in a package who aren't guaranteed to return the next week. And so really you have to find 80 clients a month. Does that feel freedom filled for you?
Like you get to choose these things. So my tip starting early is to not attach myself to an offer, not get my tunnel vision on is actually experiment and learn what feels good for you. What do you actually love? I thought I loved the membership. I thought I wanted a membership. I had to do it to know I didn't.
Which [00:37:00] now brings me to my last, my very last point. I think I've gotten to eight. My last point, number eight. Keep clear expectations in your relationship. So much pressure I hear comes from the fact that they are worried. They feel like maybe their partners put an expectation on them. Maybe they've set the expectation and their partners reinforcing it.
Maybe there is, I don't know, tension around money, around the money that's not being earned. I would be really clear about speaking with my partner about the foundations that I am building. I know for me. I know that what I have been doing in my business is long term game. I have set my business up over two years, three years, whatever to be able to then hold like literally [00:38:00] grow from here to here and hold it.
And keep scaling from here and without the core foundations in place, that wouldn't have happened. Those foundations took time that took time. And so any unrealistic expectations that are coming, not only from internally, because we've spoken about your expectations, but externally as well, they need to be openly discussed.
They need to be nipped in the butt. And I don't know what your relationships are like, but just even for you to be able to set that expectation out loud. What I am building is solid foundation. I am doing my best. I am learning. I am doing everything that I can and just keeping those clear expectations within your relationships I feel is really important.
So those are eight things I think, [00:39:00] eight things that I would do if I was starting my business over again. And I know that a lot of those things are financial. I understand that. But again, I really feel like we need to spend money when we're starting a business. I really do. And you get to discern maybe you don't do all of those things, but there are, and there are ways to do a lot of those things for free.
If you can't yet, like if you can't invest in mentorship yet, then there are plenty of free coaching groups and things that you could go and join. Okay. But I would be wary of the expectation of how much help and how deeply someone's going to get to know you and your business and how generic the advice might be because it's free.
Okay, but there are memberships that you can join, low ticket memberships. Like I know my mentor, Tracy, she's got the SMS. It is focused on Instagram marketing. It's got so much more than that inside of it. Like what an amazing way to go and join a community of [00:40:00] like minded business owners and ask for help.
And get support. So mentoring doesn't have to be just into a mastermind or into one on ones doesn't have to just be that it can be in lower ticket memberships. So keep your eyes open and your mind open to possibilities of ways that you can actually work with people and help yourself as you move forward in your business.
But honestly, and I really say this with so much love, expect that there are going to be expenses. And if you don't have the capacity for that right now, that is okay, but we need to then accept that the expectation of growing organically is going to look different. I was just going to say, coming back quickly to the experimenting with offers, I said getting on lead generation sites, that might not be something that you do forever.
I think it was Bach that I was on for the first [00:41:00] 12 months of my business. But do you know what? That got me like, yes, I paid for leads, but that got me probably my first 7 clients, maybe 8 clients. Can't quite remember. And is that ideal? No, it wasn't ideal for me, but it got me paying clients. It got me experience.
It got me testimonials. It got me off. It helped build my authority, my confidence and do I need it now? No, I don't. Now my SEO has kicked in, like coming up in the top parts of. [00:42:00] And replaced our full time income and we are living the nomad life on a laptop. We expect that because there are people out there who will tell you that is possible. And yes, it's possible. And I'm not saying it's not possible, but I am saying that if that is not your experience right now, that you are not alone in that.
And so that is not your experience. I want you to be okay with this being a long term game for you. Check back in on your bigger why, your bigger picture, your bigger purpose. Check back in on why you are doing this and the impact that you want to make. And if that has to be done by tomorrow, then I'd be sitting with that with myself.
I really would be come over to my DMS and let me know which one of these impacted you the most. Did you have an aha moment? Come and share it with me. I will voice reply [00:43:00] you back. That is just, I much prefer to speak than type. I can't wait to hear from you. I hope that this has helped you today, particularly if you are in your earlier stage of business or you are feeling stagnant because if you are feeling stagnant, come back to these things.
Come back to all of this. What are my expectations that have I detached from my outcomes? I made it not mean anything about who I am and my success in my business. Have I set clear expectations at home in my relationships and with myself? Have I built my foundations, my brand foundations, my systems, my processes, have I invested in mentoring and help in my business?
Am I actively investing my time End all money in lead generation and being visible. Am I speaking? Am I teaching? Am I showing up? Am I doing collaborations on Instagram? Am I taking over people's stories? Am I doing collaboration reels with [00:44:00] people? Am I doing these things to help me get in front of other people and help them too?
Am I growing my email list really intentionally and then nurturing them? Do I, am I seen as an authority? Do I have branding images? Do I have, branded URLs and things like that, the branded email accounts, like how am I being perceived? Is it in the way that I want my audience to be perceiving me?
Because maybe that's not what you want. Maybe that's not authentic for you, but are you being perceived in a way that you want your audience to perceive you? Come on, tell me what stood out for you the most today.
